I have been a very bad blogger, so I do apologize. I told you all I would give weekly updates on myself as well as my football season, and I haven’t. So now 9 weeks into the season I am attempting to redeem myself.
Although our record doesn’t reflect it, Western State has improved by leaps and bounds. Prior to the Mesa State game (because I havent seen the stats for it yet). Our defense was ranked 3rd in the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference), and our offense, (also prior to the the Mesa game) was the only team in all of D2 to go without an interception. Things are looking better for the program, with losses of 2 or 3 points in the last 5 minutes of the game, rather than blowouts of 50-0 which have been seen in prior seasons.
With all that having been said here is season so far:
Fort Hayes: 17-45
@ Montana: 0-38
@ Kearney: 13-45
New Mexico Highlands: 21-19
@ Western New Mexico: 38-19
Fort Lewis: 31-27
@ School of Mines: 7-24
Mesa State: 14 16
We have 3 more games left to play in. If I don’y put up any info on them by the Tuesday after the game, I would appreciate an angry e-mail reminding me. You make me a better blogger!
